 From the minute you arrive at the Jim Calhoun Academy, you’ll be treated like the basketball star that you are. Elegant hotel suites, specially-created team meals with your new teammates and coaches (which will include Emeka Okafor, Paul Pierce, Charlie Villanueva, Marcus Williams, Hilton Armstrong, Donny Marshall and others**), spa services, shopping and gaming opportunities at one of the world’s most spectacular places – Mohegan Sun.
On the court, you’ll be pushed (we guarantee it!) to take your game to the next level just as Coach Calhoun has done with all his great teams. Coach Calhoun will open the Academy with tryouts in the Mohegan Sun Arena and then host the opening night dinner and exciting player draft. Depending on the day, you’ll practice and play in either the Mohegan Sun  Arena or the storied Gampel Pavilion in Storrs. Each day, there will be one-on-one instruction, team practices, chalk talks, game competition, film sessions and more. Great activities and services are also available for family and friends attending the Academy with you. If you would like to arrive a day or two early or stay a day or two after the Academy closes, we will help you make reservations. Just let us know as soon as possible as Mohegan Sun is sold-out months in advance.
